Out of 191 nations in the world, 10 nations share 65% of the worlds annual water resources.

Beverage container waste increased more than 50 percent from 1992 to 1999 from 63.4 Billion containers to 96.9 billion Aluminum can recycling rates dropped from a peak of 66.7 percent in 1992 to 55.6 percent in 1999, the lowest level in the last decade. Pet bottle recycling rates dropped from 40 percent in 1995 to just over 20 percent in 1999.
